Not a very scientific evidence, but I think dusting off your Rapsberry Pis helps with their cooling.

The temperature drop in the graph on Tuesday night indicates my RPi was turned off for cleaning. It's been accumulating dust for 11 months. After turning it back on its temperature seems to be ~3°C lower.
